Some things in life require permission, approval, or the right timing. But when the Spirit begins to grow His fruit in you, no rule stands against it. Love is never out of season. Joy needs no committee's approval. Peace is not rationed. Paul says plainly there is no law against such things, because they were never meant to be earned by effort alone but grown by abiding in God.
Think of a quiet orchard in early autumn. The farmer did not force the apples into being; he simply tended the roots, and the branches did what branches do when they are healthy. That is how the Spirit works in us. Kindness, patience, gentleness, self-control, these are not badges we pin on ourselves through willpower but fruit that ripens naturally when our lives stay connected to Christ, the true vine.
So today, instead of straining to manufacture goodness, rest in the One who produces it. Let His Spirit have room in your ordinary moments, your conversations, your waiting, your small decisions. You may not feel the growth happening, just as a farmer cannot watch fruit swell in real time, but trust that where the Spirit is welcomed, a harvest is already forming, and nothing in heaven or earth stands against it.
