Faith is a strange and wonderful kind of sight. It doesn't wait for proof before it hopes, and it doesn't need to touch something to know it's real. Hebrews tells us faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. In other words, faith gives shape to what we cannot yet hold, and it lets us live with confidence in promises still unfolding.
Think of the seed buried in soil, invisible for weeks, or the sunrise trusted long before the sky brightens. Faith works the same way in our hearts. We may not see how a struggle will resolve, how a prayer will be answered, or how a dream will come to pass, but faith allows us to walk forward anyway, certain that God is already at work in what we cannot yet observe.
This kind of faith isn't blind guessing, it's confident expectation rooted in who God is. He has proven Himself faithful across generations, and He continues to be faithful in the quiet, unseen corners of our lives today. So when today feels uncertain, remember that faith is not about seeing the whole road. It's about trusting the One who already sees it, and who walks every step of it with you.
