He Watches While You Rest Tonight

🕊 Let Providence read it to you

The dishes can sit. The unanswered texts, the half-finished thought you carried since noon — none of it needs solving before your head touches the pillow. God was already holding all of it while you were worrying, and He will hold it still when the room goes dark and quiet.

"I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety."
— Psalm 4:8 (KJV)
Tonight's prayer
Lord, I bring You the weight of this day — the parts that went sideways, the words I wished I'd said differently, the low hum of worry I carried through the hours. I set it all down now, right here, at Your feet. You don't sleep, which means I can. Your eyes are open over my house, over the people I love, over every door and window and small afraid thing in my heart. I trust You with the night. I trust You with the morning. Thank You that I do not have to earn my rest — You give it as a gift. Amen.
Blessing for your rest
May the God of all peace draw close to you now, soft as a lamp turned low, and may every person under your roof sleep soundly, held in hands that never tire.

Have Providence read you to sleep
