Counsel Comes Softly After Dark

🕊 Let Providence read it to you

The dishes are still in the sink and the inbox never emptied, but you can let them wait until morning. Your phone is charging in the other room; let your thoughts do the same tonight. The list will still be there tomorrow — right now, just breathe and let your shoulders drop.

"I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons."
— Psalm 16:7 (KJV)
Tonight's prayer
Lord, thank You for being near even now, when the house is quiet and my mind wants to wander. You have never left me to figure things out alone — Your wisdom has met me in strange, small moments today, and I know it will meet me again while I sleep. Quiet my racing thoughts. Let my heart listen instead of worry. Whatever I could not solve today, I hand to You now, trusting You'll still be working while I rest. Thank You for counsel I didn't ask for and love I never earned. I fall asleep grateful. Amen.
Blessing for your rest
May your heart hear soft instruction tonight, and may your home rest under a peace it didn't have to earn. Sleep well, friend — morning is already on its way.

Have Providence read you to sleep
