Some days feel like scattered threads—an unexpected delay, a hard conversation, a plan that fell through before lunch. It's tempting to see these moments as random interruptions, but Romans 8:28 invites us to look closer. Nothing that touches the life of someone who loves God is wasted. Even the tangled parts are being woven into something whole.
This doesn't mean every event is good in itself. Heartache is still heartache, and disappointment still stings. But God is not a distant observer; He is actively at work, taking the good and the hard alike and weaving them toward a purpose only He can fully see. Like a skilled craftsman who never discards a single thread, He uses it all.
So today, whatever your morning looked like—smooth or chaotic, joyful or frustrating—you can rest knowing it isn't the end of the story. You're not asked to understand the whole pattern, only to trust the One holding the loom. He has never dropped a thread yet, and He won't start with yours.
