Under the Roof That Never Falls

🕊 Let Providence read it to you

Set the phone face-down and let the day's noise go quiet — the meetings, the traffic, the load of laundry still waiting in the basket. None of it needs you right now. Let your shoulders drop an inch, the way a coat slides off a hook.

"He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty."
— Psalm 91:1 (KJV)
Tonight's prayer
Father, tonight I come in under Your roof. Not a house I built, not a shelter I earned — just the covering You've always kept over me. Thank You for this ordinary evening, for a bed, for breath still moving in and out. Quiet my thoughts the way You quiet a room. Let me stop guarding what was never mine to guard. I trust the walls tonight are Yours, and they hold. Thank You for staying near while I sleep, for loving me long before I ever thought to ask. Thank You, Lord, for this good and simple rest.
Blessing for your rest
Sleep now, held under a roof that has never once given way. Peace to your home tonight, and peace to you until the light returns.

Have Providence read you to sleep
