Wings for the Weary, Strength for Saturday

🕊 Let Providence read it to you

The coffee's still brewing and the house is quiet. Saturday stretches out ahead of you like an open field. Come sit a minute before the day gets its hands on you.

"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."
— Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)
This morning's prayer
Lord, my legs are tired before I've even stood up. I've been running on fumes, carrying things I was never meant to carry alone. Teach me to wait on You this morning — not idle waiting, but the kind that leans in and listens. Trade my worn-out strength for Yours. Let me rise the way an eagle catches a current, without struggle, simply lifted. Where I must run today, keep me from collapsing. Where I only have the strength to walk, keep me from giving up. Thank You that my weariness isn't the end of the story. Renew me now, before the day asks anything of me. Amen.

Today, on purpose:
