Good morning, friend. Maybe the week has left you cracked and parched like a field waiting for rain. Come to the well before the sun climbs higher — He is already here.
"O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is." — Psalm 63:1 (KJV)
This morning's prayer Lord, my mouth is dry for you before my coffee is even poured. This week has worn me thin, and I feel it in my bones. But you are the spring I keep coming back to. Meet me here in this dry place. Fill what feels empty. Let my first thought of the day be your name, not my worry list. Give me eyes to see you in small things — steam rising, birds calling, light through the curtain. I don't want to just survive today. I want to drink deep of you and walk out refreshed. Amen.
