Speak Only What Heaven Can Bless

🕊 Let Providence read it to you

Thursday morning leans in close, waiting to hear your voice. Before the phone buzzes or the coffee finishes brewing, there is a moment made just for words spoken toward God alone.

"Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer."
— Psalm 19:14 (KJV)
This morning's prayer
Lord, my strength and my redeemer, guard the door of my lips today. Let my first words be to You, and let every word after echo something true and kind. Search the quiet room of my heart before I speak, and clear out anything sour hiding there. When I am tired, keep my tongue gentle. When I am glad, let my joy sound like gratitude. May the things I say to my family, my coworkers, even strangers, be pleasing in Your sight, not because I am careful, but because You have made me new. Receive my heart's whisper and my mouth's sentence alike. Amen.
