Wednesday morning is here, coffee steam curling upward like a question mark. You are halfway through your week, and maybe halfway through some hope you've almost given up on. Good — that's exactly where this verse finds you.
"Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ." — Philippians 1:6 (KJV)
This morning's prayer Father, thank You for starting something in me that You have no plan to abandon. I confess I get impatient with my own progress, judging half-finished chapters as failures. Remind me this morning that You are not done. The kindness You're growing in me, the patience still rough at the edges, the faith still learning to stand — You will carry it all the way home. Give me courage today to keep showing up to the work You started, even when I can't see the ending yet. I trust Your hands more than my timeline. In Jesus' name, amen.
Today, on purpose:
Thank God for one area of growth, however small
Encourage someone else still in progress
Trust God with a habit you're struggling to finish
