Look Up Before You Look Around

🕊 Let Providence read it to you

Monday morning, and the coffee hasn't even finished brewing. Before you check your phone or your calendar, tilt your face toward heaven. Someone is already watching for you.

"My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up."
— Psalm 5:3 (KJV)
This morning's prayer
Lord, here is my voice, still rough with sleep, still Yours. I don't want to talk to the ceiling or the noise in my head — I want to talk to You. So I lift my eyes now, before the list of the day crowds in. Hear me the way a father hears his child's first word of the morning. I'm not just speaking; I'm watching for You to answer. Meet me before the meetings, the messages, the maybe-hard conversations. Let my first direction today be upward, not inward. Steady my heart, Lord, and let me walk out that door expecting You. Amen.

Today, on purpose:
