Tuesday comes in plain and unannounced, no fanfare, just gray light through the blinds and the hum of the world waking up. Before the phone buzzes or the coffee finishes dripping, there's room here to listen for something steadier than the news.
"Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee." — Psalm 143:8 (KJV)
This morning's prayer Lord, before I decide anything today, let me hear You first. Speak your kindness over me the way the sun speaks over a cold field — quietly, but enough to thaw something. I don't know every turn this day will take, the conversations waiting, the decisions stacking up by noon. But I trust You know the road even where I only see fog. Show me which way to step. Not later, not after I've already wandered off on my own plans — now, while the morning is still soft and I'm still listening. I lift what's in me toward You. Lead on.
Today, on purpose:
Pause before replying to anything that irritates you.
Ask for direction before making one big decision today.
