Tuesday morning, and the world outside your window is still holding its breath. Somewhere a kettle hasn't boiled yet, a dog hasn't barked, and the mail hasn't come. This is the hour Jesus loved best — long before anyone needed him.
"And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed." — Mark 1:35 (KJV)
This morning's prayer Lord Jesus, you rose while the town still dreamed and found a hillside no one else wanted. Teach me that same quiet hunger. Before my phone lights up, before anyone calls my name, let me want you first. I don't need answers this morning — just your company. Sit with me while the coffee brews. Steady my thoughts before they scatter into today's demands. Whatever this Tuesday holds, let it grow out of this moment with you, not around it. Thank you for loving me before I've done a single useful thing. Amen.
