He Keeps Watch While You Rest

🕊 Let Providence read it to you

Leave the dishes where they sit tonight. The half-finished list can wait for morning light to find it again. Your feet have carried you far today — let them go still now, unwatched by anyone but Him.

"He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep."
— Psalm 121:3-4 (KJV)
Tonight's prayer
Lord, my feet are tired and my mind still hums with today's noise. I don't have to hold anything steady tonight — You won't let my foot slip, and You never close Your eyes to rest. While I sink into these blankets, You stay awake, watching this room, this street, this whole quiet house. I hand You the worry I've carried since morning; it isn't mine to keep anymore. Quiet my thoughts like a candle going out slow. Thank You for eyes that never grow heavy, for love that never clocks out. Goodnight, Lord — and thank You.
Blessing for your rest
Sleep deep tonight, friend — the One who guards Israel is standing watch over your doorframe too. Rest easy; nothing moves without His knowing, and nothing touches what He holds.

Have Providence read you to sleep
