The Guard Who Never Blinks

🕊 Let Providence read it to you

Let your feet stop moving now — the errands, the pacing, the last lap around today's worries. Set down the stumbling and the almost-falling, the moments you caught yourself just in time. Someone else is still standing watch, and He hasn't looked away once.

"He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep."
— Psalm 121:3-4 (KJV)
Tonight's prayer
Lord, my feet are tired and my eyes are heavier than my thoughts. Thank You that You don't grow tired the way I do — that while I drift off, You're still awake, still steady, still holding the ground beneath me firm. I don't have to check the locks twice or run through tomorrow's list one more time. You keep. You don't doze, You don't blink, You don't miss a single step I take in the dark. So I'll close my eyes now, glad and unafraid. Thank You for a Guardian who never slumbers.
Blessing for your rest
Sleep deep tonight, steady on your feet even in your dreams, held by Eyes that never close over this house.

Have Providence read you to sleep
