You Called and Someone Was Listening

🕊 Let Providence read it to you

Let the phone go dark on the nightstand. Whatever you meant to answer today, whoever you meant to call back, whatever list still has ink drying on it — it can wait for morning light. Your voice already reached the only one who mattered tonight.

"I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears."
— Psalm 34:4 (KJV)
Tonight's prayer
Lord, I called out today, even in the small ways — a sigh, a whispered worry, a name said quietly under my breath. You heard every one. You always do. Take the tight place in my chest and loosen it like a knot worked free by patient hands. Whatever I was afraid of this morning feels smaller now, held in your hearing. I don't have to carry it through the night. Thank you for bending low to listen to someone as ordinary as me, and for answering not with silence but with peace. I fall asleep grateful, and unafraid.
Blessing for your rest
Sleep now, you who were heard today — every fear you named is already in good hands. May your home stay quiet, your breathing stay slow, and morning find you and yours resting easy.

Have Providence read you to sleep
