Tonight's prayer Lord, I set the latch and lay down my body like something You made on purpose. Thank You for a bed, a roof, a breath that comes easy in the dark. I don't have to guard the corners of this room tonight — You already do. Take the worry off my chest the way You'd lift a heavy coat, and let sleep come sweet, the way You promised. Whatever tomorrow holds, You'll be up before I am. Tonight I'm just grateful — for warmth, for quiet, for another good day folded gently into night.
