Fresh Mercy Waiting for You This Monday

🕊 Let Providence read it to you

The coffee hasn't even finished brewing and already mercy got here first. Monday didn't wait for you to feel ready — but neither did God's compassion, and it beat the alarm clock. Come in from the cold hallway of yesterday's mistakes; the table is already set.

"It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness."
— Lamentations 3:22-23 (KJV)
This morning's prayer
Lord, I woke up still standing, and that's Your doing, not mine. Yesterday I failed You in small ways and large ones, yet here I am — not consumed, not cast off, not forgotten in a drawer somewhere. Your compassions didn't run dry overnight. They're new again, like bread pulled warm from the oven before the sun cleared the rooftops. Steady my hands for whatever this Monday holds. When I want to hoard yesterday's guilt like old bread, remind me You've already thrown it out. Let me walk into this day leaning on Your faithfulness, not my own. Amen.

Today, on purpose:
