The coffee is still warm and Tuesday hasn't asked anything of you yet. Somewhere outside, birds are already singing like they know something you don't. This day was handed to you on purpose — open it slow.
"This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." — Psalm 118:24 (KJV)
This morning's prayer Lord, thank You for this day. You didn't have to make it, but You did, and You called it good before I even opened my eyes. Forgive me for the mornings I've grumbled instead of noticed. Today, help me see what's actually in front of me — the light through the window, the voice on the phone, the work waiting on my desk. Teach me to rejoice not because everything is easy, but because You are near. Steady my steps. Soften my words. When trouble comes, remind me whose day this still is. I want to be glad in it, Lord. Amen.
