Sunlight is finding its way through your curtains, and the house is quiet enough to hear your own heartbeat. Good morning, friend. Before your feet touch the floor, remember: the ground beneath you is steadier than it feels.
"God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early." — Psalm 46:5 (KJV)
This morning's prayer Lord, I wake inside Your presence, not outside it. You are not far off watching my day begin — You are here, holding the walls of my life together. When the news shakes, when my own heart trembles, remind me that You dwell in the middle of things, not the margins. You do not wait until noon to help me; You are already early, already moving, already at work before my worries even open their eyes. Steady my steps today. Let me stand unmoved, not because nothing shifts around me, but because You do not shift within me. Thank You for being close. Amen.
Today, on purpose:
Name one worry and hand it to God directly.
Notice three ordinary things that feel steady today.
