Good morning, and welcome to Wednesday. The house is still dim, the coffee not yet poured, and for a few minutes the day hasn't asked anything of you yet. This is the hour Jesus loved best — before the crowds, before the needs, just Him and His Father.
"And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed." — Mark 1:35 (KJV)
This morning's prayer Father, before my phone lights up and my list grows long, I come to You. Thank You for this small, quiet room of time. Like Jesus rising before dawn, let me step away from the noise and simply be with You. Settle my thoughts. Quiet my hurry. I don't need answers for everything today — I just need You. Fill this silence with Your presence so it follows me into every meeting, every errand, every conversation. Whatever this Wednesday holds, let me carry Your peace into it, unrushed and unafraid, because I started here, with You, first.
Today, on purpose:
Sit in silence for five minutes before checking your phone.
Speak one kind word before you speak a needed one.
