Trouble Knocks, But Refuge Answers First

🕊 Let Providence read it to you

Monday walks in with its list already long, but you don't have to meet it alone. Pour the coffee, open the blinds, and let your first breath be a song instead of a sigh. He was strong before the sun came up.

"But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble."
— Psalm 59:16 (KJV)
This morning's prayer
Lord, before my day gathers speed, I lift my voice to you. You are my strength, not my anxiety. You are my shelter, not my scramble. I sing of your power this morning, plain and unashamed, because you have carried me through harder mornings than this one. Whatever knocks on my door today — deadlines, hard news, tired bones — you were already standing guard before it arrived. Make my heart glad on purpose. Let gratitude get dressed before worry does. Thank you for being my defense yesterday, my refuge now, and my song tomorrow. Amen.

Today, on purpose:
