The coffee's still brewing and your shoulders already feel the weight of the day ahead. Good morning, tired one — breathe here a moment. Strength doesn't come from hustling harder; it comes from Someone who never runs low.
"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." — Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)
This morning's prayer Lord, my strength is small this morning, but Yours is not. I bring You my tired shoulders, my heavy eyes, the parts of me that want to stay in bed. Renew me the way You promised — not with noise, but with quiet power that rises from waiting on You. Let me climb over what worries me instead of being buried by it. Let me run through today's demands without gasping for breath. And where I can't run, let me simply walk steady, unafraid, unhurried, held. Fill what's empty in me before I even ask twice. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Today, on purpose:
Pause before reacting; let calm strength answer first.
Move your body today — a walk, a stretch, a breath.
