The coffee is still too hot to drink and the light through the blinds is thin and gold. Saturday stretches out ahead of you like an open field. Somewhere in that quiet, before the errands and the noise, love is waiting to be found.
"I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me." — Proverbs 8:17 (KJV)
This morning's prayer Lord, here I am, cup in hand, morning still soft around me. You said You love those who love You, and that the ones who seek You early will find You. So I'm looking now, before the day fills up with noise. Meet me in this quiet. I'm not asking for anything complicated — just Your nearness, Your voice, Your hand on my shoulder as I move through today. Let me recognize You in small things: a friend's text, a stranger's kindness, the way the light falls across the table. Thank You for wanting to be found. Thank You for never hiding from a heart that comes looking. Walk with me now. Amen.
Today, on purpose:
Spend five quiet minutes seeking God before checking your phone.
